Publications

The association provides internal communications to its members through mailings, emails, educational workshops and the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners (NCACC) website’s home page, and external communication to the print and broadcast media. The association was the first county association in the nation to create an web page to provide electronic information to its members, including information on the activities of the various committees, county surveys, legislative bulletins, legislative bills of interest, CountyLines articles, county job listings and association activities. Association staff is also available to provide consultation on media relations, news releases, public participation in county government and related communication questions.

CountyQuarterly is the official quarterly magazine published by the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners.

100 Strong Productions

Video Productions

A division of the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners, 100 Strong Productions endeavors to tell the untold stories of North Carolina through documentary films and various other video productions in support of the NCACC mission.

Weekly Update

A weekly summary of electronic news source covering activities of the association board and steering committees, emerging issues, innovative county programs, county officials and county briefs. Also including analysis of pending legislation while the legislature is in session. The bulletin is disseminated by email and is available on the association’s website.

CountyCast

CountyCast is a national award-winning podcast that provides a unique avenue to share county stories from North Carolina, help people understand county government’s impact and why it matters.
