The NCACC is an appointing authority for three members of the 21-member State Consumer and Family Advisory Committee, an advisory organization to the Department of Health and Human Services and the N.C. General Assembly on planning and management of the state mental health, developmental disabilities and substance abuse services system.
NCACC appointees are advocates for the consumer, not counties. Each appointment is for three years, and appointments are staggered. Appointees are to come from one of the three state regions for institutional services (Eastern, Central and Western).
If you are interested in serving as an NCACC appointee, please fill out the web form below. Application does not guarantee appointment.
